Teddy has arrived!
We love our new puppy! He is half maltese and half yorky. Except for the early morning potty time in the front yard, we are really enjoying him. He will not get much bigger, but hopefully will catch on to the potty training idea. Any advice would be appreciated.

I love him! He is adorable! Our next dog (in many many years) will have to be one just like him!
My advice with potty training would be to not use the puppy pads because it doesn't teach them to go outside (unless you always want to use puppy pads). Some friends of ours used a bell hanging from their door at the dogs level and everytime they went out they kicked it to ring. Eventually the dog would ring it himself to let them know he wanted out.
Potty training can be frustrating but its worth it because I bet he is soooo sweet! I can smell his puppy breath from here! Can you tell I"m a HUGE dog lover?
