At the beach

Well, we have been at the beach for 15 days. I have read two good books and am working on my third. It is very nice to wake up when it is cool for a nice walk on the beach. Every morning I am amazed at God's beauty and gift of the ocean. There is no other place on earth that I feel closer to God than here. After the walk I then drink my coffee with my favorite morning show, The Walton's. Do you really want to hear my daily schedule? Then head to the pool for a couple of hours before lunch. After lunch, it is beach time and then about 4:00 (my favorite part of the day) I sit by the pool in the shade with my book. Supper is in the condo with a movie before bed. I am trying to put school behind me for a couple more days. I know when I head back it will be busy, busy, busy. I miss all my friends back home and my family that could not be here. I will update more when I return home.

You make me wish I was there with y'all so badly!! Try not to think about school until you at least get on the plane! That makes me miss teaching just a little bit...the excitement of a new year, organizing your classroom, seeing your teacher friends again on a more regular basis. Have fun and a safe trip back. Give Hannah a big hug for me!
Oh, Life's a beach! Sounds amazing to me! Hope you guys are having a blast (how could you not?)!
BTW-It was great to see you at Cody's wedding and I'm so glad you are blogging!
Kim- THanks for the comment. I was beginning to wonder of this was just an online chat between Lauren and me. It was so good to see you as well. I am lookinf forward to your baby girl's arrival. We are having fun, but I am a little anxious to get home.
Lauren- When you start to miss teaching just think og the first day of school and the anxiety that we always shared and then you will be glad that you have James in your arms as you sit on the sofa watching Regis. Miss you...it is not the same without you.
