These are the Days of My Life

I am a Christian wife and mother. I am a first grade teacher and could not love my job more. I balance many activites in my life and pray that it is all held together with God's love, strength and mercy.

I need to catch my breath!!!

This has been the busiest week. Getting ready for our Open House this Saturday has about killed us. Last night Charles and I finished hanging a chandelier in the kitchen and we are still talking. That is a test on your marriage I tell ya. It's hot, your arms are tired, you can't fit the wires in the hole, and the chain.....I'll end that here. Tonight, we will finish some flower pots and get the guest bedroom ready for company.
Now...about my students. I have the cutest class this year, very chatty, but cute. I have this one child who is extremely smart and Chinese. (I need to also add so so so so sweet.) Everything is yes ma'am, thank you, please. Precious! Well today I was listening to him read and then I had to ask him some questions. He said, "Mrs. Beasley? (He normally calls me Mrs. Jo Anna Beasley because of my name tag) Can I please answer these questions in Chinese. I said," Of course, let's hear it." I began to repeat what he said and when my assistant looked at us in amazement, he pointed at me and rolled his eyes. No telling what I was saying in Chinese. I am sure that I will have more stories about him and others. I wish you could all hear him talk.

Well, I also began my 2 Master's classes this week. One is online and one is not. Pray for me for endurance.
I promise I will take pics soon of my house.

My baby is a 3rd grader!

I can't believe my three year old is in 3rd grade! Where has the time gone? She loves 3rd grade and wants to stay at school at night. I pray that this attitude endures. Her teacher is precious and is a great fit for Hannah. She loves her binder and is excited about getting organized. I am very thankful for our school. We both love it and are blessed to be a part of a wonderful Christian environment. Her teacher told Hannah and me that she had been praying for her all summer. It means so much as a parent to hear those words. We are very proud of Hannah. Charles and I are so thankful for such a sweet, healthy, smart and beautiful girl.
