These are the Days of My Life

I am a Christian wife and mother. I am a first grade teacher and could not love my job more. I balance many activites in my life and pray that it is all held together with God's love, strength and mercy.

Run, Jo Anna, Run

Well, I have not wanted to post about it, because I was a little embarrassed. But I am coming out-
I am officially training for the Peachtree Road Race that is held every year in Atlanta on July 4th. I have been jogging slowly, very slowly since the first of January in hopes of running this race in July. Each week I add a lap and I am now up to 1.5 miles. It has not been easy and yes it is most everyday. I am proud of myself, and I realize that I have a long way to go. I have lost 22 pounds and as of this morning 13 plus inches. It is not all about running- there are other ingredients involved. Will talk more about that later. So, now you know- I would appreciate every effort you could make to come and cheer me on in July- I will be the one in the back- but I will be running.....

JoAnna I meant to mention to you the other day you are looking thinner for sure. I am so proud of you. You are an inspiration. Do you still run up and down the bleachers? It helps to have a goal, so the road race is a good one to shoot for. YOu may not stop at the end of the race though. Run Forrest Run! LOL Jayne
